Poltrona Frau Viola

Viola is extremely light and easy to handle, yet at the same time extremely stable and solidly built. The structure of the Viola chair is made of solid ash, stained mocha or wenge, and adorned with a weave of dark brown or natural leather cords. The seat is sprung with elastic straps and offers soft padding for the seat and backrest. The seat cushion consists of polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, while the back cushion consists of feathers with a polyurethane foam insert. The two cushions are made as a single element attached to the frame with two press studs. The removable cover of the Viola chair is made of Pelle Frau® leather or fabric. The Viola chair was designed by Studio AB Concept for Poltrona Frau and is characterised by elegant lines without neglecting comfort. AB Concept has reinterpreted a classic form, giving it a decidedly contemporary touch. The result is great formal lightness with a refined play of positive and negative spaces that enhances the dining chair both on its own and at the table. The wooden backrest is softly and comfortably shaped and also offers a convenient resting surface for the elbows. It is adorned with a weave of sixty leather cords connecting it to the structure. The harmonious, ergonomic proportions, combined with a generous, inviting seat, guarantee maximum comfort even during longer periods of sitting.
