Poltrona Frau Martha

The design of the Martha armchair unites two main structural elements made of moulded rigid foam. The seat and armrests follow a curved line extending outwards. The lightly padded backrest appears to float, yet is attached to the shell with a retractable system. A triangular wooden base provides stability. The slightly inclined seat ensures optimum comfort and emphasises the dynamic design. The four-legged base is made of solid ash with a wenge or mocha finish. The combination of colours and materials emphasises Martha's flowing line. The outside is covered in Saddle Extra saddle leather, while the inside can be clad in either Pelle Frau® leather or fabric. Hand-worked contrasting stitching showcases the combination of materials. A soft cushion with a removable cover in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric completes the design. Martha, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for Poltrona Frau, unites comfort and lightness. The combination of soft forms and contrasting materials lends the armchair a modern, airy, relaxed elegance.
