Poltrona Frau Archibald

The Archibald armchair is available in Pelle Frau® leather or removable fabric, with contrasting stitching on the leather version and tone-on-tone stitching on the fabric variant. The supporting structure is made of steel, while the padding consists of polyurethane foam with additional polyester wadding in the areas requiring extra comfort. The armchair rests on a base with four cast aluminium feet and a tubular steel frame available in various finishes. The suspension is provided by elastic straps. Archibald, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, masterfully unites form and function. The Archibald family is characterised by an inviting, comfortable seat design that invites relaxation and meditation. Despite its wide, deep seat, Archibald appears slim and taut thanks to its slender legs. The Pelle Frau® leather cover adds a pleasing dynamism to the armchair through vertical folds and is adorned along the edges and outer surfaces with elaborate contrasting stitching that lends it a subtle elegance.
