MOROSO The Big Easy

With The Big Easy, Ron Arad translates the idea of a simple volume into a piece of furniture that acts like a drawn form in space – powerful, humorous and unmistakable. Its starting point is Arad's early Big Easy interpretation as a steel armchair (late 1980s), from which Moroso developed a collection showing how an archetypal form can be read anew again and again through material and production.

The Big Easy variant relies on rotation-moulded polyethylene: through-dyed, 100% recyclable, resistant to light and water – making it suitable for outdoor use as well.

The Soft interpretations transfer the same iconic silhouette into a homely comfort update: cold-cure, hard-wearing polyurethane foam with a steel structure and polyester fibre padding – as an inviting lounge chair and, with the Double Soft Big Easy, as a sofa too.
