Volumetric lightness – the Big Easy collection by Ron Arad for Moroso
Big Easy, designed by Ron Arad, shows how an apparently simple volume becomes an expressive design object through new interpretations of material and manufacture. The armchair combines visible softness, generous volume and high comfort without altering the underlying design principles. The model explores innovative techniques such as rotational pressing of polyethylene, while soft versions additionally use cold foam and polyester fibres to optimise surface texture and feel. The dynamic design language of the collection makes every piece a statement between industrial precision and playful lightness. Made from through-dyed, 100 % recyclable polyethylene, Big Easy is light- and water-resistant and ideally suited to outdoor use.
Please note: a lacquered version (code 161) is recommended for indoor use only.
