Like its musical namesake, the design of the Violin Chair is a harmonious duet of form and function. Two parallel lines extending from the backrest recall the strings of a violin while providing essential support. Elegant details, such as the gentle curves where the lines meet the horizontal bar, give the chair a refined yet unmistakable character in which the classic meets the modern. The slightly tapered, powder-coated steel legs carry a generous seat and an inviting half armrest, designed so that the chair can be used both as a dining chair and as an armchair without compromising comfort in either setting.
