GUBI Violin

The Violin Chair is a new typology in the GUBI collection: a simple half-arm dining chair that embodies GamFratesi's craftsmanship, creativity and understanding of materials, with enough poetry to make the piece feel fresh, light and contemporary. "We would like to see the Violin Chair in groups – the chairs create a series of lines around the table, like musical notes on a score. By creating a strong silhouette and a distinctive signature, the identity of the Violin Chair endures regardless of material, edition or context." In designing the Violin Chair, GamFratesi wanted to distil the archetypal form of a chair into its purest expression, without losing the character for which they have become known.
