Named after the epic poems of antiquity, the Epic Table by GamFratesi for GUBI is a sculptural masterpiece inspired by the magnificent columns of Greek and Roman architecture. Originally made of travertine in Italy, the new version of the table marks the first time GamFratesi has worked with steel panels that are galvanised, lacquered and then treated with a series of hand-finishing processes to create a unique surface texture for every table. The monolithic form of the table is retained, but it now radiates an industrial appeal in which new details can be discovered with every use.

This collection lends personality to private spaces and gives public and hospitality environments a fascinating sense of substance and tactility. The robust surfaces are distinguished by exceptional durability. The Epic Table Collection offers a variety of heights and diameters, so that a single monochromatic table can stand on its own or be combined harmoniously in dynamic groups with different materials, heights and colours.
