Carl Hansen CH415 sofa table
Hans J. Wegner originally designed the CH415 in 1990 as a table intended to stand between rows of sofas at Copenhagen Airport, matching Wegner's sofas there. He drew a low table with a round solid wood top with a vertical edge, carried by four slender stainless steel Legs that tilt slightly outwards. Wegner placed particular importance on the wood top remaining dimensionally stable and the table standing securely. With its round top, slender Legs and compact Dimensions, the CH415 also works well in the living room: it can be moved with one hand and fits beside an armchair or sofa, where a large sofa table would be too much.
The round Table top of the CH415 is made of solid wood, the Frame of stainless steel. The table is available in six Versions: soaped oak, clear lacquered, oiled or white oiled oak, as well as clear lacquered or oiled walnut.
