Carl Hansen CH004 Nesting Tables
Hans J. Wegner designed the CH004 Nesting Tables in 1952 on the principle of keeping them as simple and functional as possible, without sacrificing harmony and aesthetics. The set comprises three side tables that can be placed individually around a room or nested together to save space. The tables carry the details that mark them as Wegner's: round, tapering legs, classic tenon joints and harmoniously curved arcs. They emerged at a time that called for more flexibly furnished living spaces – and that is exactly what they still deliver today: when space is needed for guests, the tables can be pulled apart, then stacked back together as a single, light piece of furniture.
Table tops and frames of the CH004 are made of solid wood. The nesting table set is available in five versions: soaped, oiled or white-oiled oak, oiled walnut, and the mixed oak/walnut version. Oak/walnut means the table top is made of walnut and the table frame of oak.
Sustainability: this product is made from FSC™-certified wood and other controlled materials (FSC® C134744).
