Louis Poulsen YUH • floor lamp
The Louis Poulsen YUH floor lamp was designed in 2017 by the Danish-Italian designer duo GamFratesi. Originally available in black and white, the collection was later extended with models in brass and marble. A central feature of the YUH floor lamp is its flexible adaptability. It can be rotated and adjusted in height in order to light a specific area and create a pleasant atmosphere.
The YUH floor lamp emits glare-free light mainly downwards, while a narrow opening in the upper part of the shade directs soft ambient light upwards. An intelligent and simple mechanism gives the lamp maximum freedom of movement and allows it to be aligned optimally to different areas of use such as the living room or the workplace.

Lighting concept
The lamp emits mainly glare-free light downwards, with the shade adjustable to change the angle of the light. A narrow opening in the upper section releases soft ambient light. Thanks to a flexible mechanism the light can be aimed ideally, for example at the workplace or in the living room. The integrated LED technology allows stepless dimming (15-100 %) and a timer function switches the light off after 4 or 8 hours. A fixed brightness level can be set for switching on. A button on the upper part of the stem serves as switch and dimmer.
