B&B Italia Borea

Borea is a modern, versatile garden furniture collection designed by Piero Lissoni. The pieces have a tubular metal frame with a flowing, seamless design, without joints or interruptions. To create a collection with an unmistakable style, Borea is manufactured using new technologies typically employed in aviation. The lounge collection comprises two- and three-seater sofas, a large armchair, a low small armchair and a dining chair, all with a stackable lacquered aluminium frame. Comfort is provided by generous cushions that are not only soft and relaxing but were also developed sustainably. The upholstery consists of polyester fibres derived from recycled PET plastic bottles with a polyurethane core of varying density. 510 1500 ml bottles are needed to create the upholstery for a Borea three-seater sofa, 390 bottles for the two-seater sofa, 280 for the armchair.
