Gio is dedicated to life in the open air – the new collection designed by Antonio Citterio with classic-contemporary accents. A complete family of sofas, corner elements, chaise longues, loungers, armchairs, chairs, tables and accessories, built on structures of solid teak in the special antique grey finish. This lends the wood a distinctive used finish with silver-grey reflections. From a practical point of view, the various types of sofas, corner elements and chaise longues – all of which can be combined in linear, corner or peninsula configurations – offer a base structure with wooden slats, on which frame, backrest and armrest are built, distinguished by woven bands in the colour tortora. This special structure allows the various components to be dismantled very easily, reducing their volume when the furniture is stored away in winter. The seats are complemented by cushions and back pads that offer exclusive colour combinations and make Gio particularly cosy and comfortable. To ensure better weather protection, all upholstery is fitted with a waterproof-treated polyester lining, while the fabrics are certified for their resistance to weathering, UV light, chlorinated water and salt.
