The GRACE lounge chair by GUBI is an elegant fusion of traditional craftsmanship and modern material innovation. Designed by Mathias Steen Rasmussen, this chair convinces with its low-slung wooden frame and a striking, nautically inspired rope weave that gives it a sculptural lightness.
For outdoor use the frame is made from FSC®-certified iroko wood – a durable, weather-resistant timber that keeps its clear silhouette even in the open air. Like the indoor version, the MR01 Outdoor manages without screws, which underlines its pure and reduced aesthetic.
The seat and back are made from a custom-made high-performance polyester rope developed specially for outdoor use. It is waterproof, UV-resistant and, thanks to an anti-deformation core, keeps its shape, so it does not slacken even after long use. Perfect for terraces, gardens or the pool area, where design and functionality are in harmony.
