Carl Hansen CH100 Series Sofa
The CH102 sofa by Hans J. Wegner features a stainless steel frame in an unconventional design, while the upholstered top is made using traditional methods. The sofa's inner wood frame is upholstered to the highest quality standards, and the loose cushions consist of a foam core surrounded by down. This makes them stable while remaining wonderfully soft. The stainless steel frame, with its brushed surface and striking bends, shows that Hans J. Wegner mastered this material just as well. The CH102 sofa is part of the exclusive and versatile CH100 Series and exemplifies Wegner's experiments with different shapes and materials.
The CH100 Series is available in three sizes: the CH102 as a two-seater, the CH103 as a three-seater, and the CH104 as a four-seater. All three share the same brushed stainless steel frame and an upholstered inner wood frame; a wood version is not available for this model. The cover can be chosen from leather groups A, B and C; fabric is not offered for this model.
