Carl Hansen CH446 footstool
The CH446 footstool was originally designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1958 to match the CH401 chair. Despite its solid wood inner frame, it has a light appearance, with legs made of stainless steel tubing that will last many generations. The footstool is a perfect match for Wegner's CH401 lounge chair and his two legendary lounge chairs, the Wing Chair and the Oculus Chair.
The CH446 has a stainless steel frame and a solid wood inner frame. The seat surface is padded with foam; the cover is available in eight fabric groups and three leather groups. There is no wood version of this model. The stool matches the CH445 Wing Chair and CH468 Oculus Chair armchairs.
