More Salo

SALO is a shelf that occupies the room instead of blocking it: solid wood shelves, with nothing between them but slender steel rods, through which the view passes freely. Bernhard Müller brought the idea back from a Finnish birch forest, where the trunks rearrange themselves with every step. The shelves appear to float, giving books, found objects and favourite things a calm stage. Whether as a low console, room divider or tall bookcase, SALO brings structure and lightness to the home at the same time.
