More Avar
Sometimes even a formal language cannot do without an alphabet: in the AVAR by Bernhard Müller, two A-shapes placed against each other carry a calmly continuous solid wood top. The legs stand at an angle outwards, the top rests visibly on them — a table that confidently displays its construction rather than concealing it. With a frame in solid wood, AVAR appears as if cast from a single piece; in black marble, it becomes a striking statement full of contrast. A table for rooms that are allowed to have character.
