High-quality visitor and conference chair with distinctive aesthetics. Its special feature is the accentuated separation of shell and Frame. In the moulded-Wood Seat shell, the cut of the surfaces shows formal analogies to automotive design, translated by Thonet into the material Wood. The ergonomic Shape offers high seating comfort in two Upholstery Variants: a clean-lined, taut one and a relaxed, softer one. The use of different veneers and stain tones, as well as different Upholstery Covers in leather or Fabric, allows the character of the chair to be changed and adapted to any interior style. Different back heights and base Frames are also available.
The THONET S 845 DRWE swivel chair is the Version with a high back. It stands on a five-star swivel base in polished aluminium with castors and a tilt mechanism, and is infinitely height-adjustable. The Seat shell in moulded plywood is available in oak, with walnut available at extra cost. The clean-lined, taut comfort Upholstery and the relaxed comfort Upholstery with deliberate waviness are available to choose from. Available at extra cost: the swivel base in chrome-plated aluminium and chrome-plated castors.

Comfort Upholstery: The comfort Upholstery is a particularly elaborate Upholstery construction: depending on the model, a fine non-woven layer is additionally sewn in. This makes the cushion feel softer while sitting and, at the same time, more durable, as the Cover is loaded more evenly.
Relaxed Comfort Upholstery: The relaxed comfort Upholstery is the softer, more casual variant of the comfort Upholstery. Its Cover is deliberately not taut but settles into gentle waves – this is intentional and part of the character of this Upholstery, as are seat impressions that remain visible after standing up. Those who prefer a smooth, taut look should choose the standard comfort Upholstery.
