The chairs stack tightly (up to 17 units) and feature a connecting mechanism that links them together simply, securely, space-savingly and without tools (Thonet patent). With a low or high back and various upholstery options, S 160 offers a broad range of applications. A variant with wooden chair legs (160) turns the popular multi-purpose chair into a residential-style chair for the contract sector, for example for cafés with a homely interior. There is also a slim and particularly comfortable bar stool (S 160 H) for the hospitality sector and for working at high tables.
