Direct, glare-free and directional light; part of it is reflected via the back of the head onto the arm. A simple joint system can be positioned freely, and the inside of the shade is painted white.
Design: nendo – Oki Sato
About nendo: nendo is the design studio of Oki Sato, born in Toronto in 1977, who founded it in 2002. The name is the Japanese word for clay or modelling compound – a material that can be shaped freely. Sato works with soft, friendly forms and small details that make his designs feel familiar at first glance.
Material and finish: arm and head in aluminium, joints in anodised aluminium, wall bracket in aluminium, powder-coated.
Installation and operation: switch on the head, two brightness levels, timer 4 / 8 hours. With plug-in power supply; cable length 3.3 m (short arm) or 2.3 m (long arm).
Protection rating: IP20, protection class II.
Dimensions: shade Ø 14.9 cm; short arm 15 cm, long arm 2 × 48 cm; wall bracket 6.3 × 7 / 12.5 cm (drawing PL 146)
