Louis Poulsen AJ EKLIPTA • wall light • various sizes
The mouth-blown shade of three layers of opal glass forms an evenly luminous surface; its crisp edge becomes a halo of light around the lamp. The light is soft and diffuse.

About the designer: Arne Jacobsen (1902–1971) is one of the best-known Danish architects of modernism. After studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, he first worked for the city architect and, two years after graduating in 1927, founded his own practice.
