Louis Poulsen AJ • wall lamp
The AJ wall lamp by Louis Poulsen was designed in 1957 by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. With its white-lacquered inner surface it produces pleasant, downward-directed light and can be adjusted to alter the light distribution. Part of Jacobsen's internationally known AJ lighting range, various versions of these lamps were found throughout the hotel and contributed to its overall concept.

Lighting concept
The wall lamp directs its light downwards. The angle of the shade can be adjusted by about 90 degrees upwards and downwards as well as 60 degrees to either side in order to optimise the light distribution. The inside of the shade is lacquered white to produce a soft and pleasant light.
