Carl Hansen RF1905 Sideways Coffee Table
The RF1905 Sideways Coffee Table by Rikke Frost combines traditional Danish craftsmanship and choice of materials with a contemporary design language. The table top rests loosely on an organically rounded solid wood Frame and is held by four brass fittings – it is reversible, so the second surface can be revealed with a simple flip. Beneath the top, a shelf spans the Frame, providing space for a phone, tablet or book without occupying the table surface. This keeps the table tidy, even while in use.
The Frame and Table top of the RF1905 are manufactured separately and can be freely combined. The solid wood Frame is available in six finishes: oak clear lacquered, oiled, white oiled or black lacquered, as well as walnut clear lacquered or oiled. The Table top comes in a choice of three materials: veneer in oak or walnut, a reversible tray with a laminate side in the 0720 Nero Ingo and 0717 Castoro Ottawa decors, or a marble top. The fittings are made of brass.
