The Danish designer is known for bringing something soft and round into her designs, which is also clearly evident in the Sideways Footstool. Its organic shapes and soft expression are reminiscent of the Sideways Sofa, its larger sibling. The footstool is a perfectly formed addition to the Sideways series, extending the sofa's functions – and invites a break from everyday life. It impresses with its light, airy shape and elegant mix of materials. Hand-turned oak and soft textile form a beautiful combination in which great attention was paid to functionality and detail. Rikke Frost's passion for solid craft tradition is clearly recognisable in the Sideways Footstool, which combines classic design with a modern expression. With its round, soft appearance, the footstool is also an aesthetic object in its own right.
The RF1903F is available in seven versions: soaped, lacquered, oiled, white oiled or black lacquered oak, as well as lacquered or oiled walnut. The cover can be chosen from eight fabric groups; leather is not available for this model. The stool matches the RF1903 Sideways Sofa but can also be used on its own.
