more PERO table | round
A table with a point you only notice on second glance: the dark lacquered steel legs of PERO cast no shadows - they are connected by a crossed base frame. The pronounced corner edges of the top pick up the angles of the base frame, making this table guaranteed to suit any setting.
In the round version, the crossed frame carries a continuous solid wood disc 2.8 cm thick. The base frame grows with the top: more covers the seven diameters with three frame sizes.
Twenty surfaces are available, oiled and waxed or matt lacquered.
An attachable Lazy Susan can also be chosen: a ball-bearing turntable placed centrally on the table top. Those seated at the table turn bowls and platters towards themselves instead of passing them round. The disc is made of anthracite powder-coated steel, 3 mm thick, runs on a fixed-mounted swivel bearing and stands on plastic pads that protect the wooden top. It is simply placed on top and can be removed at any time. Three diameters are available: Ø 70 cm (21 kg), Ø 90 cm (24 kg) and Ø 110 cm (27 kg). Colour shades to approval sample are available on request. Design: Gil Coste, 2017.
