more EEVA dining table • round/square
EEVA is the table that can become as large as possible as simply as possible. The top rests on a single central base in solid wood, which tapers conically towards the bottom and consists of visibly joined slats: outwardly a calm object, inside precise craftsmanship.
Two top shapes are available at the same price: round, Ø 110 to 140 cm, or square, 110 to 140 cm, with a corner radius of 20 mm. The top is only 2 cm thick with its edge broken to R1, and the base measures Ø 60 cm.
Designed by Bernhard Müller & Çağdaş Sarıkaya, 2024.
For the centre of the table, an add-on Lazy Susan can be chosen: a round turntable in anthracite powder-coated steel that stands loose on the table top. Bowls, platters and bottles sit on it in the middle; anyone who wants something turns it towards themselves instead of reaching across the table. Because the top rests on a central base and nobody sits behind a table leg, the turntable is equally easy to reach from every seat. It is not a fixed part of the table; it is simply placed on top and can be removed at any time when the whole surface is needed. Three diameters are available: Ø 70 cm (21 kg), Ø 90 cm (24 kg) and Ø 110 cm (27 kg).
