The MOUNT by Gil Coste has been part of the core more range since 2007. Its effect comes from generous proportions and a construction that conceals nothing: a steel frame with a wood inlay, two feet set well inwards, and above them a continuous solid wood top.
The top is glued-board construction and solid throughout, 2.8 cm thick, with lengthwise grain and a softly rounded edge. The oval shape takes the severity out of the long table. Because the frame is noticeably narrower than the top, there is plenty of legroom at the ends and along the long sides.
The frame is made of steel, anthracite powder-coated, and carries a wood inlay matching the chosen table surface. 21 surfaces are available in oak, ash and American walnut, oiled and waxed or matt lacquered.
