The MOUNT bench by Gil Coste picks up the design language of the MOUNT table and carries it into upholstery: generous seat depth, pleasing curves and a slim steel frame that lifts the body off the floor. Paired with the MOUNT table, this creates a bench that reads as a built piece of furniture rather than a set of chairs placed alongside it.
The upholstery is built entirely from ecological materials — sisal webbing, coconut fibres, cold foam with castor oil, and sheep's wool. This makes the bench suitable for both private and public spaces; for contract use, a fireproof fleece is available on request.
115 covers are available: the fabrics Flash, Clunis, Gent, Jette, Rami, Spa and Loop, as well as the leathers Orta, Idro, Lugano and Garda. With the corner element, the bench can be arranged around a corner, as a corner bench or a double corner bench.
