The HARRI table by Peter Fehrentz appears understated at first glance. Only the details reveal the effort involved: an optional brass foot cap on the table legs and a wood inlay in the frame that picks up the tone of the table top. Corners and edges are nowhere to be found.
The oval top is a glued-board, continuous solid wood table top 2 cm thick. The surface comes oiled and waxed or matt lacquered, with the grain running lengthwise. The frame, made of anthracite powder-coated steel, carries a wood inlay matching the tone of the top.
The soft curve at the narrow ends takes the severity out of the long table and allows more freedom of movement at the ends than a corner would. At 350 cm, the HARRI is only available in this shape.
