DEDON MYMI: where high-tech meets French esprit. The story: an icon reinterpreted. With the MYMI collection 2026, designers GamFratesi present a visionary evolution of the popular AIIR series. The idea: to rethink the classic shell chair and give it a crafted, personal aesthetic. MYMI merges GamFratesi’s Danish precision and Italian refinement with a “Sound of France”. The name MYMI is a charming fusion of “My” and “Mignonne” (French for delightful or sweet) – a name that perfectly reflects the personal bond and the sculptural design. Design & craft: the porcelain aesthetic. The heart of MYMI is the unique seat shell. A special mould construction has made it possible to create a silhouette reminiscent of the delicacy of a porcelain cup. Yet behind the delicate look lies state-of-the-art technology:

• High-tech meets craft: the injection-moulded shell of high-performance polypropylene (100% recyclable) offers maximum UV stability and comfortable flexibility.

• Masterly weaving: at the DEDON manufactory in the Philippines (DEP), each shell is finished by hand in approx. 3 hours using 38 metres of DEDON fibre. The fibre structure recalls the flowing texture of traditional garments.

• Innovation in detail: a new draining hole and improved seat cushions with an anti-slip function ensure the highest comfort outdoors. Target group & use: from private balcony to bistro. MYMI is the perfect choice for the KIDA or MBRACE customer looking for something special. Thanks to its lightweight construction and extreme durability (tested to the strictest DIN standards), the collection is predestined for both the retail and the contract sector (cafés, restaurants, hotels).
