The 1808 and 1809 side tables complement the successful 808 lounge programme. For designers Claudia Kleine and Jörg Kürschner, the idea of a family of products is central. Thanks to the two different 808 and 809 lounge chairs and the complementary side tables, many combinations are possible. Whether in a private living room or in the contract sector, in a hotel lobby or a modern office or waiting area: the side tables are versatile. The 1808 table has a round top with a diameter of 90 cm and stands 40 cm high, while the smaller 1809 variant (Ø 65 cm) is somewhat taller (50 cm), so the two tables can be combined in a staggered arrangement.
The THONET 1808 and 1809 side tables stand on a frame made of flat steel in a stainless steel look, available powder-coated in black RAL 9005 at extra cost. The 1809 has a 19 mm thick top with a Ø of 65 cm and stands 50 cm high, while the 1808 has a 25 mm thick top with a Ø of 90 cm at 40 cm height; this allows both to be combined in a staggered arrangement. The top is made of chipboard with real wood veneer or laminate, in the standard finishes beech I or RESOPAL® laminate; the stained finishes beech II, ash, oak, walnut and bleached oak are available at extra cost. The edge is straight as standard, with a continuous underside bevel available at extra cost. Plastic glides are included; felt glides are available at extra cost.
