The Tabwa cabinet by Ethnicraft combines generous storage space with an exceptional design language shaped by craftsmanship. The Tabwa collection is named after the Tabwa culture of Central Africa. The design was inspired by its preference for linear and geometric motifs. Each individual pattern is carefully carved by hand into the teak fronts, turning a functional storage piece into an individual, almost artistic one-of-a-kind piece.
Behind the two doors, the Tabwa cabinet offers generous storage space for tableware, books, textiles or other home accessories. Two additional interior drawers allow smaller items to be kept in good order. The handleless fronts underline the calm, closed silhouette of the piece.
The deep, dark off-black colouring reinforces the graphic effect of the hand-carved patterns and gives the cabinet an elegant presence full of character. Material
The doors of the Tabwa cabinet are made from solid teak and finished with a protective lacquer. The characteristic geometric patterns are carved into the wood surface by hand. The carcass is executed in oak veneer, while a black metal frame lends the tall piece stability and a light, contemporary base.
