Ethnicraft Tabwa TV cabinet | various sizes
The Tabwa TV cabinet by Ethnicraft combines a clear, minimalist silhouette with an exceptionally artful surface treatment. The calm proportions of the piece form an exciting contrast to the hand-carved geometric patterns and give the TV cabinet a striking and at the same time elegant appearance.
The Tabwa collection is inspired by the culture of the same name in Central Africa, which is known for its particular preference for linear and geometric motifs. These traditional design elements are reinterpreted in a modern design language. Every pattern is carefully carved into the wood surface by experienced craftspeople, which gives each piece an individual character.
With its generous width, the Tabwa TV cabinet offers plenty of room for a television, media equipment and decorative home accessories. A flap door and two or one spacious drawers create additional closed storage space for cables, remote controls, media and other items and keep the living area tidy.
The deep Off Black colouring brings out the hand-carved patterns particularly effectively and, depending on the light, creates a varied play of light, shadow and structure. The surface therefore looks almost like a three-dimensional work of art and makes the Tabwa TV cabinet an expressive focal point in the living room.
Material
The doors of the Tabwa TV cabinet are made from solid teak and given a protective lacquer finish. The carcass is in oak veneer, while black metal legs provide a stable stand and a light visual contrast. The dark lacquer protects the wood surface and at the same time emphasises the hand-carved geometric patterns.
