SOLIS garden lounger - Morpho by Tomorrowland
The Solis garden lounger is named after the sun and made for lingering — by the pool, on the roof terrace or in a sheltered courtyard.
Its perfectly circular form encloses the cushions like a cocoon and creates a place in which to give yourself over to warmth and light. The curved teak frame wraps around the lounging surface in two arcs and echoes the organic lines of Art nouveau.
Solis belongs to the Morpho by Tomorrowland collection, designed by the Tomorrowland Design Studio in collaboration with the architect Dieter Vander Velpen. The collection combines contemporary design with the organic spirit of Art nouveau — from the fine structure of the dragonfly wing to the curves of roots and branches.
Five scatter cushions are included in delivery. The cushions are filled with quick-drying foam and covered in a weatherproof outdoor fabric.
Material
The frame is made of solid teak — either untreated in a natural tone or lacquered black. Untreated teak weathers evenly outdoors to a silvery grey. The cushions are filled with quick-drying foam (seat 31 kg/m³, back 54 kg/m³) and covered in 100% polypropylene, 80,000 Martindale.
