Carl Hansen E005 Embrace Armchair
The Embrace Armchair combines Austrian design trio EOOS's pronounced sense of modern aesthetics with Carl Hansen & Søn's long tradition of first-class craftsmanship and outstanding comfort. To achieve a precise yet relaxed expression, EOOS combined soft, modern upholstery with a classic, light solid wood frame. The wood structure runs continuously, with the legs acting as an essential element of the overall silhouette rather than as a complement to the upholstered top section. Particularly striking is the back of the frame, which consists of three parts joined together with classic finger joints. Soft, three-dimensional upholstery serves as seat, backrest and armrest, nestling against the wood structure and appearing almost to float within the frame.
The E005 is available in seven versions: soaped oak, lacquered, oiled, white oiled or black lacquered oak, as well as lacquered or oiled walnut. The upholstery is available in eight fabric groups and three leather groups, and the piping in five colours: white, natural, dark blue, brown and black. The E005 Embrace Armchair is part of the Embrace series.
