Carl Hansen OW224 Rungstedlund Dining Table
Ole Wanscher's design for the sculptural OW224 Rungstedlund Dining Table dates from 1962. It was originally designed for the Rungstedlund estate, which today houses the Karen Blixen Museum. The table has an elegant elliptical Shape and is made from mirrored oak veneer. The table is extendable, offering space for a flexible number of guests – another example of Wanscher's sophisticated functional design. The extension leaves are available separately.
The OW224 has a veneer Table top and a Frame in solid Wood. It is made in one Version: oiled oak. The table has a leaf mechanism for two extension leaves, including a black wooden support leg. The extension leaves are ordered separately and are available, at extra cost, in grey MDF, black MDF or oiled oak. The wood grain of the extension leaves may differ from that of the dining table top.
Sustainability: this product is made from FSC™-certified wood and other controlled materials (FSC® C134744).
