Carl Hansen FH38 Windsor Chair
Precision from solid oak with a hand-sanded finish – this high-backed chair is a skilful fusion of a dining chair and a lounge chair. The clean lines of the Windsor Chair may deceive, as its production requires masterful craftsmanship employing a wide variety of joinery techniques. Thanks to the open spindle frame and the gently curved design of the Backrest, seat and Armrests, the Windsor Chair nonetheless remains light in its expression. Each individual chair is not only beautiful to look at, but also an outstanding example of traditional craftsmanship refined over centuries. This regal chair was in continuous production at Carl Hansen & Søn until 2003 and is now being relaunched with modern comfort in mind.
The FH38 is made entirely of solid oak and is available in two versions: soaped or oiled. A leather Seat cushion for added comfort is available at an additional cost.
Sustainability: this product is made from FSC™-certified wood and other controlled materials (FSC® C134744).
