The TRIBU stool by 101 Copenhagen combines architectural rigour with domestic comfort. Inspired by traditional tribal structures, it consists of a robust base in hand-painted fibre concrete and a softly padded seat cushion in fine off-white linen. The interplay of the clear vertical lines of the concrete slats and the gentle curve of the cushion gives the design a particular tension between raw architecture and domestic elegance.
The cushion is carefully covered in linen and offers a pleasant feel as well as high seating comfort. The combination of a sculptural base and a soft surface makes the stool both a practical seat and a striking design object.
