The Brutus Dining Chair, also known as the Brutus chair with armrest, is an iconic design piece inspired by the brutalist architecture of the mid-20th century. With its clear, geometric formal language and distinctive armrest silhouette it becomes an architectural statement at the dining table – powerful, pared back and at the same time surprisingly comfortable.
Made from high-quality materials such as solid oak or fibre concrete, the Brutus Chair combines sculptural presence with everyday functionality. The precise lines are loosened by the subtly curved armrests, creating an appealing contrast between severity and softness.
Indoor & outdoor use
The fibre concrete versions are robust and weather-resistant and are therefore ideally suited to outdoor areas – whether on the terrace, by the pool or under a pergola. Please note: the chair is not frost-proof and should be protected or covered in winter.
The oak versions, by contrast, bring natural warmth indoors and are ideal for modern dining rooms with Scandinavian or minimalist interiors.
