FOKU lounge chair – sculptural design between indoor and outdoor
The FOKU lounge chair / FOKU lounge armchair / FOKU chair, usable as a FOKU modular sofa when several elements are combined, by 101 Copenhagen, is inspired by the forms of traditional Japanese garden tools. Clear, geometric lines and voluminous cushions merge into an iconic design object whose sculptural presence works both in the living area and outdoors. The characteristic ribbed seat recalls the traces in the sand of Japanese Zen gardens and gives the chair its unmistakable silhouette.
Multi-layered premium upholstery guarantees the highest comfort, while the fully upholstered finish provides visual harmony and tactile warmth. With a load capacity of 180 kg and its stable construction, the FOKU lounge chair is not only a design object but also a functional seat – on its own or combined with further FOKU chairs into a modular lounge landscape.
The chair is available in five exclusive covers – either for indoor use with luxurious Bouclé or for outdoor use with hard-wearing Sunproof fabric:

- Bouclé (indoor): Absorb liquids immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Treat stains carefully with a mild cleaning agent, never scrub. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
- Sunproof Fabric (in & outdoor): Water- and dirt-repellent, UV-resistant. Remove light soiling with a soft sponge and a mild cleaning solution. Vacuum the fabric regularly.
