The Nama lounge chair by 101 Copenhagen combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with timeless craftsmanship. Inspired by classic Japanese stick chairs, it brings a clear, pared-back formal language into modern living and lounge areas. Its name – „Nama“, which in Japanese means „raw“ and „natural“ – reflects the pure simplicity and organic character of the design.
With its gently curved lines, the characteristic backrest and the solid wooden armrests, the lounge chair radiates elegance, stability and comfort at once. The generously upholstered seat invites relaxed reclining and makes the chair an ideal piece for living rooms, lounge areas or representative spaces.
The Nama lounge chair is available in three refined material combinations and can be perfectly combined with the other pieces of the Nama collection – among them the Nama chair and the Nama chair with armrests.
Versions:
- Version 1: Coffee Black Oak with linen in Raw Sand (8047-2) – understated combination of dark wood and light textile, stylish and versatile.
- Version 2: Natural Oak with nubuck leather – warm, natural look, ideal for light, Scandinavian interiors.
- Version 3: Coffee Black Oak with black aniline leather – refined and elegant, with a contrasting material effect for modern interiors.
