MAKURA by 101 Copenhagen – fine scatter cushions by 101 Copenhagen for seating furniture
The Makura scatter cushion 11 complements the Brutus Lounge Chairs perfectly and brings additional comfort as well as a soft, homely note to the collection's distinctive design language. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl (2024), it combines organic materials with architectural precision.
The rectangular cushion (36 x 60 cm) is available in two different versions:
- Raw Linen in Sand (8047-2): a purist cushion in untreated linen, distinguished by a fine, earthy texture. The material blends harmoniously into the raw aesthetic of the Brutus collection and provides a soft seat without impairing the sculptural expression.
- Merino Sheepskin in Sandshell: a luxurious variant with soft, untreated lambskin. The warm „Sandshell“ tone and the fluffy surface give the cushion a particular sensuality and tactile depth. Natural lanolin keeps the skin supple and protects it at the same time – easy to care for and durable.
Both variants bring a subtle balance between structure and cosiness and make the Brutus Lounge Chair even more inviting.

- Material: 100 % untreated linen or 100 % merino sheepskin
- Care: dab with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasives or hard brushes. Avoid direct sunlight to protect the natural surface.
