The LAX extending table with drawer system continues the line of the fixed LAX table: the same glued solid wood table top, the same characteristic crossed steel legs, the same edge tapering towards the corners on both the end and long sides.
In this version, a drawer is integrated under the table top at both ends of the table, housing the foldable extension leaf. When extended, the frame stays in position — unlike the Synchro system, only the leaf moves. The table grows by 60 cm on each side.
The table top is 2.8 cm thick, tapering to 0.8 cm towards the corners. The grain runs lengthways; on the extension leaf it runs in the same direction but is not continuous. The extension system is made of dark bronze anodised aluminium with a fascia of black powder-coated steel.
