The LAX conference table is the bigger sibling of the LAX table: the same glued solid wood table top, the same characteristic crossed steel legs — just stretched to lengths of 400 to 600 cm. A table that seats an entire department without ever looking heavy.
The table top is 2.8 cm thick and tapers to 0.8 cm towards the corners on both the short and long edges. This tapering edge is what gives the table its lightness despite its length. The grain runs lengthways.
Three cable management solutions are available, each recessed into the table top: the cable flap with a solid wood cover plate and hinge, the cable compartment with an inset cover plate in anthracite powder-coated steel, and the cable grommet in aluminium with a bayonet fitting and dust-protection bristles. The cable flap and cable compartment accommodate a freely configurable media box with up to five slots; the fittings themselves are not supplied by more.
