Roda Double

The original design by Rodolfo Dordoni emphasises the distinctly linear geometry of the timeless Roda Double collection, which extends the range of upholstered sofas with a new “total outdoor” version. Lightweight yet resilient aluminium is ideally suited to the frame of the Double lounge furniture, which is covered with soft upholstery combined with a permeable 3D mesh. The Double collection shows a successful combination of natural and high-tech materials, perfectly suited to creating original outdoor solutions. The careful workmanship of the Double garden furniture is also expressed in the precise selection of details. For the Double and Dandy upholstery collections, open-cell polyurethane of varying densities is used to provide perfect seating comfort. The 3D mesh gives the product a pleasing, complete look even without an upholstery cover. The mesh not only offers a pleasant surface but also excellent technical performance: on the visible side the fabric is more open, allowing water to drain away more easily, while on the inside it is slightly denser, improving the grip of the cushion without compromising drainage and drying. Thanks to their three different polyurethane densities, the seat cushions act like a true “air cushion”, guaranteeing absolute comfort and breathability. On the underside of the seat cushions, which are removable for routine care, there is a non-slip drainage mesh that lets water run off, allows the cushion to ventilate and prevents it from sliding forwards. The back sections can be connected to the seat cushions by means of a quick bayonet fastening. There is also a “crossover” assembly option between seat and back modules. This allows several modules to be joined into one backrest and countless combinations to be created.
