Lounge – from the house of Gloster. The Gloster outdoor collection Maya consists of a range of lounge elements with inviting, comfortable seat and back cushions. Broad horizontal lines and assertive angles combine into a bold, indulgent profile. Maya was designed by Mark Gabbertas. The collection's design is based on the principle of the classic Gloster Cloud frame; it embodies the refinement of the new design philosophy with particular attention to the materials and technologies at the creative forefront of garden furniture design. It is often easier for a designer to start from scratch than to improve an existing design. That was the challenge: the gentle yet meaningful evolution of an existing idea – preserving the spirit of the original while refreshing it. The Maya frame is made from an ultra-slim, powder-coated aluminium profile, with legs in cast aluminium. Weatherproof upholstery in four fabric classes enriches the collection and makes the Maya lounge group a real eye-catcher in your garden or on your terrace.
