101 Copenhagen THE MOON

The Moon Collection by 101 Copenhagen interprets the quiet elegance of the night sky as a design object for the interior. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl, the series plays with the interaction of balance and lightness: two light sources float along a slender arm, above which the large, round lampshade hangs in the room like a bright celestial body.

Inspired by the ethereal beauty of the cosmos, the design creates a harmonious union of weight and weightlessness, structure and fluidity, function and art. The combination of brushed metal and a stable marble base lends the lamp a sculptural presence that not only provides light but defines atmosphere – whether in the living room, next to a lounge chair or as a dramatic eye-catcher in the interior.
