Nanook is a narrative about the transition from surface into space – inspired by the organic patterns of nature. The form recalls the structure of molecules or snow crystals: a hexagonal lattice that radiates order and lightness at once. The result is an object that shows clarity in its geometry and depth in its materiality.
The sheet-steel table top rests on a tubular steel frame – a combination of technical precision and refined elegance. The name Nanook refers to the iconic documentary film about the life of the Inuit in the North – as a symbol of the connection between tradition, innovation and timeless design.
