Ethnicraft BLOCK shelf
Ethnicraft Block shelf
The Block shelf by Ethnicraft combines a clear, architectural design language with the natural warmth of solid wood. The striking angular dividing elements create a rhythmic interplay of open surfaces and geometric structures and give the shelf a sculptural and at the same time balanced appearance.
Its open design gives the Block shelf plenty of room for books, vases, art objects and personal home accessories. The differing compartment heights create a varied layout and allow objects of different sizes to be displayed in many ways. At the same time, the open structure keeps the shelf looking light and airy despite its generous height.
The shelf can be used on its own as an expressive piece of furniture or in combination with further Block shelves. Its clear lines and deep espresso colouring make it a particularly good fit for modern, minimalist and architecturally minded living and working areas.
Material
The Block shelf is made from solid mahogany. The wood is given a dark espresso stain, which brings out the natural grain and the warm character of the mahogany. A matt lacquer gives the surface additional protection and lends the shelf its elegant, restrained look.
